It's crazy to believe 2022 is right around the corner. Time flies when you're having fun...and when you're not lol. I've already started my 2022 travel planning so I figured why not continue last year's tradition of sharing my plans with you all!
My Travel Plans
Panama - January 2022
I wanted to do something small and fairly inexpensive for my birthday with two of my friends. I checked Google Flights and Panama City, Panama came up as a good option so we booked it. I've seen quite a few people go to Panama recently and it looks like a great weekend getaway option so I'm excited! The only thing we have planned for sure is a street food tour so if you have any other suggestions, definitely let me know!
Peru - Spring 2022
One of my friends from high school and I recently discussed visiting Peru next year but we haven't solidified anything as of yet. I looked into both Lima and Cusco and am thinking to try to do a Thursday to Monday time frame based on my available PTO. We will probably finalize plans next month.
The Bahamas - June 2022
So my friend and I were supposed to go on a cruise to the Bahamas in June 2020 for her birthday but, of course, COVID canceled those plans. We rescheduled for November 2021 thinking everything would be fine by then. Although they have started cruising again, we were still hesitant because I'm not trying to end up trapped on a cruise ship the way they were at the beginning of the pandemic. So we postponed again and are planning for June 2022 now for her next birthday instead. I think we have to use the credits or we lose them so this is pretty much solidified at this point.
Morocco - July 2022
My aunt is planning to do annual birthday trips for her birthday in July from now on. This year we did St Lucia and next year will be Morocco. I'm super excited for this trip because this will mark my fifth continent visited and my first time in Africa. My aunt and I are kind of adrenaline junkies so I'm sure we will ride ATVs through the desert. We also looked into the traditional Moroccan breakfast in a hot air balloon which I think would be super cool to do on her actual birthday. I also really want to do a cooking class while there. I can't wait to really start finalizing and booking everything!
South Korea - September 2021
I've technically been to South Korea before but it was for a long layover rather than a designated trip. So when two women from our Colombia trip expressed interest in going, I was definitely down to join them! It will be four of us total and we are planning to go around labor day to use less PTO. We even talked about dressing for a theme (it's a secret) during the trip which I'm excited about! I've already started looking for inspo and shopping for pieces lol.
